MEET THE INSTRUCTORS

David McHenry, DPT

  • David started working with Nike Running in 2004 and was subsequently asked to formally join the Nike Running team in 2010 to be a full time physical therapist and strength coach to support their top runners around the world. In 2021 David became the Associate Head Coach of Nike’s newest professional running group, The Nike Union Athletics Club.

    Over the course of his career David has been a coach at the last 3 Olympics, the last 5 World Championships and has coached a total of 16 gold medalists and 28 total medalists at these events.

    In 2015 David was asked to join the University of Oregon sports medicine staff to provide the same collection of services he’d been providing Nike Running since 2010. Over the span of his involvement the Ducks have won 8 NCAA National Championships.

    Over the last 10 years he has also worked alongside Nike in running footware innovation and provided biomechanical research to assist in various footwear evolution and to help broaden the collective understanding of mechanical efficiency, performance optimization and injury prevention.

Dan White, DPT

  • It was also during this time that Dan created Rock University, a mentoring and education partnership between Rock Valley and the University of Iowa. During his leadership, Rock U onboarded and educated nearly 50 new therapists. Dan’s roles in developing Rock U and as adjunct faculty at the University of Iowa has guided his commitment to education and excellence of the health care providers he has since worked alongside.

    In 2017 Dan moved to Eugene, Oregon to take a position with the University of Oregon Track and Field Sports Medicine Staff where he continues to practice. In his years at Oregon, the team is consistently at the top of the PAC12 and national track standings. Moreover, the sports medicine team at the University of Oregon is responsible for an injury rate of less than 3% by championship season.

    In 2020 Dan assumed the role of Lead Physiotherapist for the Nike Oregon Track Club as well as local Nike Sponsored athletes Cole Hocker and Cooper Teare. In his first year working in professional track and field Dan was proud to have 10 of his athletes compete in the Tokyo Olympics.

Colleen Little, DPT

  • In 2016, Colleen became the clinic director at the Nike Wellness Center, on campus at Nike World Headquarters. Here she managed a multidisciplinary team of PTs, massage therapists, athletic trainers and acupuncturists. As the practice grew at Nike, Colleen had the opportunity to start working closely with professional track and field athletes, specifically the Bowerman Track Club.

    In January of 2021, Colleen took a full time role with the Bowerman Track Club and now travels with the team as their physical therapist, strength coach and medical coordinator. She has been a part of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 World Championships and currently the team is working towards the 2023 World Championships in Budapest and Paris Olympics in 2024.

    Since joining BTC, Colleen has helped coach two Olympic Silver Medalists and had eleven athletes, from five different countries, race in Tokyo 2020. Most recently, Colleen has taken on a consulting role with the University of Oregon XC/Track and Field program, allowing her to continue to work closely with both Dan and Dave. Colleen’s home base is Park City, Utah when she isn’t traveling with the team.

Lyndsay CENTROWITZ, DPT

  • While at PACE, Lyndsay assumed the leadership role of Practice Manager in which she facilitated clinic operations, staff management and oversight of patient care. She managed a multi-disciplinary team of care providers and served as a site supervisor, providing mentorship and hands-on education to PT students. In all of her roles, Lyndsay continued to provide exceptional patient care, collaborating with the biomechanical lab at PACE and other providers in the community.

    Lyndsay is a Pelvic Health Specialist and is Level 3 BSPTS-Rigo Method certified in Scoliosis Specific Exercise. Her extensive training in these disciplines provides a unique lens through which she supports her patients individualized needs. Lyndsay has also developed a reputation amongst peers and patients of holistically addressing mind and body in her patient care.

    Lyndsay now owns her own practice in Park City, UT that focuses on optimizing the potential of the female athlete. She combines her knowledge of biomechanics, strength and conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation, and understanding of the female body to provide client centered care.
